The 1917 Rivoli, the Ritz Theatre from 1931, leased as The Masquerade from 1987 to 2006 and reopened as the Ritz Ybor in 2008. As the Masquerade it is where Obituary, Morbid Angel and Atheist play the 1987 and 1988 showcases the Europeans fly in for, and where Glen Benton's pig guts bring the health department; the 1991 Tampa Bay Metal Awards are held here.
