Forms Mantas at sixteen, an international tape trader before the band has a record. Joins Slaughter in Toronto for a few weeks in January 1986, spends a year in the Bay Area with Chris Reifert, and comes home to record Leprosy at Morrisound in 1988. After the 1990 European tour goes out under the Death name without him he rebuilds the band around guest musicians for every album, which is why so many of the map's connectors pass through it. Plays in Voodoocult in Germany in 1994, founds Control Denied in 1996, and dies of a brain tumour on 13 December 2001, aged 34. Born Human (Decibel Books, 2025) is the biography.
